We felt so happy to have stayed here! All the staff were super friendly and helpful, rooms very clean and warm and comfy beds. Couldn’t ask for more. Extra points for laundry facilities and cute animals!
Third year in a row staying here for the world ag show and we love it. The rooms are cute, staff is amazing and the location is beautiful!!
Very quaint place. We had a one bedroom in a duplex. Barely heard our neighbor. King bed, mini fridge, Keurig, and a small microwave. Two nice big arm chairs. Yes its an older place and could use some updates, but the bed slept well and it was very clean. Great lady at check in, and a big bonus, Two very friendly cats. Loved it and would stay again for sure.
We had a wonderful two-night stay here. The staff was incredibly welcoming, and our room was super cozy, even featuring a gas fireplace. The location was perfect for accessing the park and just minutes from town, with plenty of restaurants, pizzerias, and grocery stores nearby. Highly recommended!
Clean and cozy rooms, and grounds were decorated for Halloween in October which was fun. Staff were very friendly and provided lots of info on the area. Rooms had lots of amenities (including the usual stuff but also shower caps, makeup remover, etc.) and huge comfy beds with the softest sheets! Located super conveniently outside Sequoia NP. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if in the area.
Lovely cozy place, clean rooms (a bit outdated but gives them charm) and nice and gentle personnel. We loved seeing the animals in the back and petting Turtle. You are truly made feel like home. And the halloween decorations were awsome, made me want to go back for Christmas. The location is good to visit the park and nature trails and I found super helpful the booklet left in the rooms with info about the town and the surroundings. If you stay in room #12, check the painting hung at the head of the bed (easter egg?).
The staff was very sweet, the rooms were clean, the bed was super comfortable and the fireplace heater was a cute rustic touch. The location is gorgeous as well, with a river access point and a phenomenal view of the surrounding mountains. The motel was decorated for Valentine's Day which was cute, and there were many small activities on site as well including a pool with gazebo, tetherball, a jungle gym for kids, and an enclosure with sheep and goats, all of which were very friendly with visitors. Genuinely the only less than ideal thing here was that the water pressure in the shower was fairly weak.
My daughter Charlotte and I loved our stay at the Lazy J Ranch. We were well taken care of with clean, comfy rooms and great service. Jackie was so gracious to help us with the dvd player!! I would recommend 100 times!! And we loved the hummingbirds, Turtle and Stella! Thank you!!
